Ask for a room facing away from Old Christchurch Road: that stretch is the late-night circuit and stays loud until 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

- Dog rule: main beach dogs banned 10:00-18:00 from 1 May to 30 September. Nearest dog-permitted sand is Boscombe East, a 25-minute walk.
