Skate ramps sit under the west side; fishermen have permit-only access to the east side. Practical tips.
- Dog rule: dogs are permitted on the pier deck itself on-lead year-round; the beach immediately either side follows the 10:00-18:00 May-September ban.
- Parking: BIC multi-storey opposite the pier is £6 for 3 hours, £18 daily; disability blue-badge bays sit on Undercliff Drive turnaround.
- Seasonal: Air Festival week (mid-August) closes the pier to public access for the four display afternoons; check Bournemouth Air Festival dates before booking.
